WHITE LAKE REFUGE
Wetlands Restoration
Purpose: The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency acquired
White Lake Refuge in 1991. In 1992, Ducks Unlimited completed construction of

consists of a combination of moist-soil plants and flooding of agricultural
crops. The area is managed by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency to provide
quality wintering habitat for waterfowl.
